Mesa Boogie DC-5 Dual Caliber 50W in BLENHEIM, Queensland for sale

Like all Mesa amps, this things is incredibly loud. I really dont know why any guitarist would even need this much power for any gig thse days.50W but seems almost as loud as my old Musicman 130W. Many Caliber owners blow the Black Shadow (its a Celestion 90W), so you can see it really drives the speakers hard.
Turn up with caution. Extension cab recomended if you are going to play at higher volumes.
This and most Mesa amps are engineered in a way like no other amp Ive used. They have quirky little tricks you need to learn to explore and use to get the wide range of tones available. the 5 band EQ is really great, especially for that scooped sound. Definitely the most versatile amp Ive ever used for getting different tones.
ITs comes with a dirty and clean channel, and the EQ is switchable in/out too, so you have 3 virtual switchable channels.
The distortion is brutal. You've got 3 stage gain going through 6 AX7s in the pre amp. The Caliber will give you that Metallica/Petrucci sound right out of the box.
Comes with the original footswitch.
Fully functional and in mint condition, except there was a small tear about 5 cm in the tolex on the underside, which is covered by gaffa, and you never see it anyway.
